Items Guide
Items provide powerful stat boosts to individual units. Equipping the right item on the right unit can turn the tide of battle.
How to Get Items
Items are rewarded from Benchmark rounds, which occur every 5th round after round 3:

After winning a benchmark round, you are offered 3 random items and pick 1 to keep.
Equipping Items
- Each unit can hold 1 item.
- Drag an item onto a unit to equip it.
- If the unit already has an item, the new item replaces the old one.

There are 6 items in the game. Each is color-coded for quick identification.
Fine-Tuning (Red)

Increases the unit's attack damage by 25%. Best on high-ATK units that auto-attack frequently.
Best On
DPS and Assassin units, who deal most of their damage through basic attacks and ATK-scaling abilities.
Extended Context (Teal)

| HP | +30% |
Increases the unit's hit points by 30%. Helps units survive longer, especially in the frontline.
Best On
Tank units, who need to soak damage for as long as possible to protect the backline.
RLHF (Purple)

Increases Ability Power by 40%, boosting ability damage and healing. Essential for ability-focused builds.
Best On
Mage units (Token Storm scales with AP) and Support units (Context Heal scales with AP). Also strong on Tanks (Firewall self-heal scales with AP).
Quantization (Yellow)

Reduces the unit's cost by 1. This affects synergies and interactions that reference unit cost.
Best On
High-cost units (4-5 cost) to free up economy or enable cost-dependent strategies.
Chain of Thought (Green)

When the unit casts its ability, it activates twice instead of once. Effectively doubles ability output.
Best On
Mage units (double Token Storm is devastating AoE) and Support units (double Context Heal keeps the team alive). Also strong on Assassins for double Execute Process attempts.
Distillation (Orange)

| Adjacent stat | +50% |
Boosts a stat by 50% based on adjacency. The stat boosted depends on neighboring units.
Best On
Place this unit next to your strongest allies to maximize the adjacency bonus. Works well in clustered formations.
